Invest in a QUALITY filter:
We carry PLEATCO filters, which in our opinion, is the highest quality filter on the market. It is critical to choose a well-made filter for the overall efficiency of your filtration system. You could buy a cheap, off-brand filter, but it won't save you any money in the long run because you'll be replacing it sooner. And worse than that, a cheap filter won't work nearly as well.
Cleaning your hot tub filters:
A simple wash every 1 to 2 weeks, rinsing it with water from your garden hose will dramatically extend the lifespan of your filter.
Every 2-3 months, you'll want to give it a chemical cleaning. We have a few different products that you can use for this purpose; the SpaBoss Filter Free, SpaBoss Cartridge Cleaner, or the EcoOne Filter Cleanser.
